Having a hard time mounting wheels with those oem wheel bolts? or just sick of how ugly they are?
 

This Wheel Stud Conversion Pack is a perfect solution. Just install these on your OEM wheel hubs and start using lug nuts instead of those annoying wheel bolts. Each stud is easily installed using a conventional allen wrench. This will make wheel swapping and mounting much easier and faster whether at home or at the track. You'll also be able to use a variety of lug nuts in conjunction with your wheels. No longer will you need to use dull wheel bolts if you've upgraded your wheels.

--- Our stud bolts are manufactured with strong cold forged Metric Grade 10.9 steel. Additional Heat Treating ensures dependable strength, durability, and performance. Machine precision threads ensure the best fit on the vehicle's hub and lug nuts. The special Nickelage provides ultimate corrosion, rust, and scratch resistance.
--- Requires standard tire repair tools, allen wrench / hex tool, torque wrench, and socket.
--- While installation is simple and most knowledgeable buyers can install themselves, we recommend professional installation especially if it is your first time installing auto accessories.
--- Apply thread-locking fluid to the studs (short thread end) and torque to 20 ft/lb. Lug nuts should be torqued to OEM specifications. For your safety retorque all hardware (studs and nuts) after 25-50 miles.
 
WHY USE WHEEL STUDS INSTEAD OF WHEEL BOLTS?
--- Studs protruding from the hub offer an easy way to align the wheel when mounting. If you track your car or take your wheels off frequently this will save you a lot of time and trouble.
--- Longer studs allow for the use of different width spacers without needed to change stud length. Making studs a much better option if you frequently change spacer widths.
--- Using bolts can lead to inconsistent stretching and engagement which may end in fatigue and shearing of a bolt, whereas studs have more consistent torque when using nuts. This not only makes studs safer to use but it also increases the lifetime of your studs and nuts.
--- Wheel studs are required by many racing bodies - because they are a better, safer way to ensure proper wheel engagement.
--- Wheel studs are safer than wheel bolts because you can see when the stud is engaging the lug nut completely - a longer wheel stud sticks through the lug nut. A wheel bolt? Its a mystery... only way to know if is engaging the wheel hub completely is to remove it and count the threads when installing.
--- Wheel studs allow the use of a variety of hub-centric wheel spacers, or no spacers at all. Longer wheel bolts have to be tailor made to each wheel spacer width.
--- Wheel studs stay engaged into the hub fur their entire life cycle. The repetitive installation and removal of wheel bolts can cause accelerated wear on the threaded holes on the (expensive replace) wheel hubs.
--- Installing wheels using wheel studs is considerably easier than when using wheel bolts, as the studs will locate the wheel while the nuts are being fastened.

HOW TO INSTALL?
 
(1) Loosen all lug bolts while the car is on the ground.
(2) Jack up the car, take off lug bolts, remove the wheel.  
(3) Apply a drop or two of thread-locker onto the threads at the short end of the stud.
(4) Screw in the stud until it is hand-tight. Repeat these two steps until all all bolts have been inserted.
(5) Slid hex key into a socket and attached it to a torque wrench with an adapter. Set your torque wrench to 20 ft/lbs and tighten all studs. 
(6) Slide the wheel back on the studs. Make sure it is centered on the hub. Tighten lug nuts onto all studs. (Our this item does NOT comes with nuts, you should buy the lug nuts by yourself.)
(7) Lower the car onto the ground. Grab your torque wrench again tighten all lug nuts.
(8) Enjoy the benefits of your work.
